I grew up visiting the St. Johns River, as you read in an entry above, my great uncle owned a place southwest of you and my grandfather worked at Blair's Jungle Den in the fifties...Hi Aunt Sandy:)! I miss the river, tubing, diving, and most of all, the family and friends that it brought together. I now live with my husband in New Jersey...airforce... I wouldn't have moved here any other way. I have visited your site once looking for an alternative fish camp verses Okeechobee. We usually have a group of 8-12 guys/4-6 boats that need accomodations for a week during February-March. Most of the guys fish for crappie/specks. I would appreciate any assistance as far as fishing information etc... I will be accompanying a scouting party the week of January 24,thru the 27th,2002. I think this website is great! It is so easy to find what you are looking for and easy to navigate. You have used some beautiful pictures. Blair's Jungle Den looks like a very nice place to visit. My family goes to the St. John's River every year for fishing trips. I think your place would be a great place to look into for vacation stays. Maybe one day soon I will have a chance to see it for myself.

Does Jungle Den have weekly rates on a single or double (2 beds) efficency type accomodation? If I stay in the motel are boat slips available by the week?
If I tow my boat down there behind a 37 foot motor home can I park the RV at your facility? Do you have water, sewer and 30 amp power available? Is a slip available so the boat stay in the water until I get ready to head back north? What would it cost for at least 2 weeks and perhaps a month with the RV and a boat slip (assuming one is available)? THanks for your attention and the reply to my questions. Have a good day.
